József Laszlovszky (Ph.D. (Budapest)) is a professor at the Department of Medieval Studies at Central European University Budapest and guest lecturer at the Department of Medieval and Postmedieval Archeology at Eötvös Loránd University Budapest. His research focuses on the Medieval material culture, monasticism, English-Hungarian connections in the Middle Ages and Medieval archaeology. He published and edited the monographs The Crusades and the Military Orders. Budapest: Central European University Press, 2009 (with Z. Hunyadi); People and Nature in Historical Perspective.
